Privacy Policy

PicQi never sells your personal data to third parties — not now, not ever. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

• Account information: your email address, display name, optional profile photo and handle, and your sign-in method (email code or Google).
• Taste data: your likes and dislikes, Watchlist items, taste survey answers, searches, groups, plans, follows and notification preferences.
• Location (optional): if you allow it, your approximate location or the city/zip you type, used only to find nearby restaurants. We don't store a location history.
• Payment information: Premiere payments are processed by Stripe. PicQi never sees or stores your card number. We keep only your subscription status, renewal date and a Stripe customer reference.
• Referral information: if you join through a friend's invite, we record who referred you so they can earn a Ticket.

• To generate and rank recommendations across movies, TV, books, recipes, restaurants and podcasts.
• To run your account, Premiere subscription, groups, plans, alerts, digest and referral Tickets.
• To keep PicQi secure and prevent abuse (for example, enforcing daily pick limits).

We share only the minimum needed with the providers that power PicQi's features:

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, database and sign-in.
• Google — optional sign-in with your Google account.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Content catalogs — TMDb (movies and TV), TVMaze, Open Library, TheMealDB, Foursquare (restaurants), Apple Podcasts, YouTube (trailers) and OpenStreetMap (city/zip lookup). These receive search terms or locations, not your account details.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

PicQi uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences (such as dismissing the install prompt). We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

• Your saved picks are private by default. You choose whether followers can see them.
• You can edit your profile and export your data from Account settings.
• You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. This removes your profile and taste data. We keep limited anonymized billing and referral records where required for accounting or fraud prevention.

We protect your data with access controls so only you can read your private data. We keep data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, except as noted above.

PicQi is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
